Context Preparing for "Launch Soiree"

There are few things in life that satisfy a group of designers more than a finished tangible product. There were countless hours spent watching the CNC follow lines and surfaces with beautiful precision; lines which, until now, only exist in the digital realm. Sketches, CAD drawings, 3D models, more sketches and tons of "round table" meetings all lead to the end of this step in the "Making" process. It is in this moment that the pain from weeks of pushing through wrist lock and carpal tunnel show their worth. It is here, at this stage, that the final step begins. In this moment the Designer becomes the Builder. The pictures that follow are a short depiction of this "Context making process" a process that we hope will be revived in the current design climate.
